A proud Houston, Texas native, Tamra Byrd is the Lead Stylist at Tamra Nicole Styling Agency. After serving as a Stylist for over 10 years in the fashion retail industry Tamra decided to venture out on her own launching Tamra Nicole’s Styling Agency (TNSA) in early 2020. Tamra matches today’s hottest looks with clients’ style and body type, educating them on proper fit and how pieces can work together to create dynamic looks. Tamra styles both men and women and is also a Custom Clothier for men.
Tamra earned her stripes in the fashion world through studying at London’s University of Westminster and working at House of Fraser and Barneys New York. She graduated from the Parsons School of Design in Fashion Marketing. Tamra is also a proud graduate of Howard University where she studied Public Relations.
Although she was flourishing as a fashion talent at Bergdorf Goodman, Tamra returned to Texas and found her way to Trunk Club Dallas in September 2015. While at Trunk Club, Tamra was promoted several times and served on several boards throughout the company.
In the Fall of 2018, Tamra partnered with Nike and the Dallas Cowboys, using her stylist’s eye to imagine new ways for women to incorporate jerseys and other team apparel into fashion-forward leisurewear. For this partnership, she was seen on Good Morning Texas (one of Dallas’ top morning shows) offering specific women’s looks just in time for game day.
You can now catch Tamra showcasing her styling skills around the city of Dallas. Recently she has styled many lifestyle photo shoots for clients and continues to create beautiful custom garments for her male clients. Whether you need to be styled for day to day or special occasion Tamra does it all.
